Static Guarding – FETAC Level 5

The aim of this training programme is to provide the learner with an understanding of practical security duties for those working within standard and retail security.

Theory Modules include:

• Overview of the legislation
• Courtroom experience including expert witness
• Communication
• Drug awareness
• Report writing

Practical Training Modules include

• Use of emergency equipment
• Emergency procedures
• Use of security equipment

Practical skills demonstrations include

• Searching an individual
• Conducting patron refusal of entry/removing a person
• Dealing with aggressive persons
• Team work
• Action on finding an injured person

We are a FETAC (Further Education and Training Awards Council) approved training provider and we offer accredited training programmes that enable you to achieve FETAC awards on the National Framework.
