Risk Assessments

Under Health & Safety legislation, employers must carry our a risk assessment. The main aim of the Safety Statement is to outline the plan for safeguarding the safety and health of their employees while at work and the other people who might be visiting the workplace.

The process of carrying out a Risk Assessment involves identifying the hazards in the place of work under his or her control, assessing the risks presented by those hazards and documenting how the hazards and risks are being controlled.  This document is referred to as a Risk Assessment.
